We audition. We rehearse.
We build sets and develop costumes. We make connections and friends. Then, we share it all with the rest of YOU!
What we expect is simple...We want your child to enjoy this experience and to be the best he/she can be on- and off-stage.

What is "ACT"?
ACT is A rea C hildren's T heatre. 
Where is Area Children's Theatre?
ACT is located in Warrenton, Georgia. We are currently housed in the Warrenton Cultural Center. Located at 226 South Gibson Street. Warrenton, GA 30828.
What kind of performances does ACT preform?
​We currently operate on a Fall & Spring rotation (not including ACT sr in the Summer, visit that page for more info) in the following order: Musical, Shakespeare, Drama then Comedy.
Do I have to "Act"?
We have roles of all kinds! You could help just behind the scenes (until you get the acting bug... it's contagious...), have a minor role, or be the star! You'll have to audition and see!
What kind of things will I have to do?
Lots of studying your script, arrive on time, listen, pay attention, follow instructions, help on sets days, be at performances & practices, and most importantly between all of the previous... Have Fun!
How much does ACT cost?
ACT is free to all children participating! We receive all our funding from sponsors in our community and ticket sales! Your cost is simply "to put your time and effort into our show".
